Posted: 26/01/2010 in Formula 1

Carlos Pace was a talented brazilian driver who was tragically killed in a plane crash in 1977. Today in 1975 he took his only F1 victory in his home race, the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos. Carlos Pace delighted the home crowd by leading home a Brazilian 1-2 as Emerson Fittipaldi came in second. After Carlos Pace’s death the Interlagos circuit was renamed the Autodrom Jose Carlos Pace in his honour.
